Google Down: Thousands Of Users Report Issues With Search And Website In India

Google services are reportedly facing disruption in India on Tuesday, affecting thousands of users across the nation. As per outage tracker, Downdetector, nearly 2,067 users witnessed outage issues with Google services. Most of the users in India reported issues with Google Search. Around 58 per cent of the complaints on Downdetector were related to search issues, while 25 per cent of users faced problems with content not loading. Remaining 12 per cent users reported website-related problems.

Most Complaints Linked To Google Search
It is noteworthy that the outage issues seem to be mainly limited to India. In comparison. Only 143 users in the United States reported issues on Downdetector at the time of writing. Several frustrated users took to social media to complain about problems accessing Google services, including webpages and search results. However, Google has not yet official commented on the issue.
As per the outage tracker, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and several other cities remained majorly affected due to the reported outage in India.

An X user posted a screenshot of the error he faced while searching on Google. As per him, the error read, “Server Error. We’re sorry but it appears that there has been an internal server error while processing your request. Our engineers have been notified and we are working to resolve the issue. Please try again later.”
Another X user by the handle @notagodzilla shared the similar error he received and tweeted, “I can’t believe I’m saying this but Google dot com is actually down. I don’t remember the last time it happened. We are seeing a new rise of these events and I guess vibe coding to blame?”

It is noteworthy that the official Google Search Status Dashboard and the Google Workspace Status Dashboard reflected no outage and error, which means that the tech giant has not confirmed any outage in the country as of now. Users will have to see when their service resumes.
