BGMI 4.6 update is on the way, and it has been confirmed that the update will be launched next week. It has also been confirmed that it will bring new Midnight Hunters supernatural theme mode. Here, the players will get to see darker surroundings and gameplay mechanics. The theme mode will be available in the game until November 2026. According to the official announcements by Krafton, the Battlegrounds Mobile India 4.6 Update will be released on September 16, 2026.
Midnight Hunters theme mode will turn Erangel into a darker place. However, there will be no changes to the layout of the same. But yes, the map will get Points of Interest (POIs) to match the supernatural theme. It will also include themed creatures, and players can take on a new appearance and a new set of abilities in the mode. The mode will also bring new characters like Bloodwalkers, Vampire Elder, and Nightbats. Furthermore, we will also get to Nightkeeper, an NPC located at the Hunter Guild.
Rozhok, Quarry, Gatka, and Mylta will become Vampire Takeover points of interest. Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base will house the Nightkeeper’s Hunter Guild. There will be a shooting range for hunter training, Scream Crates, and a clock tower. Furthermore, Midnight Hunters will also bring new themed items like Hunter Bandage for rapid recovery, Silvermoon Chain that can be used in multiple ways as a weapon against creatures, and Twilight Bat Wings, which unlock flight in the game.
Apart from that, the Ocean Odyssey theme mode will also make a comeback, providing the users an underwater-themed experience on September 30, 2026. All other details related to the Battlegrounds Mobile India 4.6 update are still under wraps. Speculations are that Krafton will reveal a little more about the same before the official launch, and the rest of the things will be seen in the full-fledged update rollout.
