Apple Reportedly Working On iRing To Expand Its Wearable Lineup

Apple has been aggressively pushing new products and innovation, and the upgraded Siri is proof of the same. Now, the latest rumours suggest that the Cupertino based giant is also working on a smart ring that will be competing with the Samsung Galaxy ring and the Oura ring lineup. According to tipster Kosutami, Apple is working on a smart ring that will be called ‘iRing.’ As of now, the leaks related to the ring do not reveal a lot of details about the same.
It is also being said that the Apple iRing is currently in the early stages, and there are no leaks that can corroborate how far Apple has come with the project. Apple has been in the practice of entering a segment late but coming fully prepared for it, apart from Apple Intelligence.
The Apple iRing could serve as a screen free replacement for the Apple Watch that will pack fitness tracking and health sensors along with other functionalities on the cards. It is also being speculated that the Apple iRing will be shipped globally as well as in the Indian market at a lower price point as compared to the latest Apple Watch series.

What Else Is Going On At Apple?

Apple is also working on a new iPhone Fold that will be making a debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro max this year in September 2026. The device is going to have a unique foldable design if we go by the leaks, and the Cupertino-giant is also prepping to offer a self-repair creaseless display here. It will be powered by the Apple A20 Pro chipset along with high capacity RAM and an ample amount of storage. Rumours have it that the device will be entering the global market at a price point around @$2100 to $2400.
