Just a month ahead of Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), Rockstar Games has released a new trailer, giving fans another look at the highly anticipated open-world game. The latest video offers a fresh glimpse of Vice City and its characters, including Jason and Lucia, as excitement around the upcoming title continues to build.
The new video arrives as Rockstar prepares for the release of GTA 6 on November 19, 2026. The game will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, marking more than a decade since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5.
GTA 6 New Trailer: What Does It Show?
The latest trailer runs for around 90 seconds and focuses on the game’s setting, characters and story. It gives players another look at Vice City, a fictional location inspired by Miami, along with the wider state of Leonida.
The video follows protagonists Jason and Lucia as they become involved in a criminal conspiracy after a seemingly simple robbery goes wrong. The story appears to revolve around their relationship and their attempts to survive as they find themselves caught in increasingly dangerous situations.
“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive,” the company wrote.
Rockstar has also used music to build the atmosphere of the game. The latest trailer features a track by electronic music duo Justice, highlighting the importance of music to the GTA series.
Players searching for GTA 6 Trailer 3 should note that Rockstar has released a new launch trailer, rather than officially labelling the video as Trailer 3. The company previously released its first trailer in December 2023 and its second trailer in May 2025.
Rockstar also released an extended gameplay showcase in August 2026 to give a closer look at the game. The latest launch trailer offers another preview of the title as the release date approaches.
With GTA 6 scheduled to arrive on November 19, fans now have another look at what Rockstar has been preparing for one of the biggest video game releases of the year.
