Vivo V80 Series Price Range, Full Specs And Launch Timeline Leaked Online: All Details

Vivo’s next premium mid-range smartphone lineup could be just around the corner. While the China-based tech giant has not officially announced the Vivo V80 series yet, a new leak suggests the smartphones may debut in India as early as next month. The latest information hints at a larger battery, a smoother display, upgraded security features and a higher price tag compared to the Vivo V70 series. Keep on reading to know everything about the Vivo V80 series, including its expected launch timeline, price and leaked specifications.
Vivo V80 Series: Specifications And Features (Expected)
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu), the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to retain much of the formula used in the Vivo V70 series while introducing a handful of meaningful upgrades.
The Vivo V80 lineup is tipped to have a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, an improvement over the 120Hz panel found on its predecessor. Under the hood, the phones are expected to continue using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which also powers the current generation.
Leak suggest the upcoming lineup may pack a 7200 mAh battery paired with 90W wired fast charging, up from the 6500m Ah battery on the Vivo V70 series.
For photography, the Vivo V80 series is rumoured to feature a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The phones are also tipped to offer IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Vivo V80 Expected Price And Launch Timeline
The latest leak claims the Vivo V80 series could launch in India around the middle of August. Pricing, however, may see a quite big jump. The Vivo V70 launched earlier this year at Rs 45,999 for the base variant, while the Vivo V70 Elite started at Rs 51,999. The upcoming lineup is now tipped to compete directly with the recently launched Oppo Reno 16, which starts at Rs 61,999 in India. As always, since these details are based on leaks, they should be taken with a pinch of salt until Vivo makes an official announcement.
