Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch its next-generation of Galaxy smartphones. The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is once again making headlines in the leaks. As per a notable tipster Sawyer Galox (@Sawyergalox), Samsung is working on the development of the second generation of its Privacy Display technology, This updated feature may come with improvements to several aspects of the screen.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is tipped to offer high resolution when Privacy Display is enabled. The Korean tech giant is also expected to be working on improving viewing angles, screen resolution and overall display clarity. The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is anticipated to debut in early 2027, although the company has not revealed the official launch timeline as of now.

As per the tipster, the improved display hardware may add to the prices of Galaxy S27 Ultra. The purported flagship may come at a starting price between $1,400 (nearly Rs 1,33,000) and $1,500 (around Rs 1,43,000).
These figures vary from the earlier leaks about the pricing of the alleged smartphone across markets. The previous report suggested a starting price of $1,399 (roughly Rs 1,35,000) in the US. In South Korea the handset was tipped to price $1,499 (nearly Rs 1,45,000). Notably, these prices remain unconfirmed. Samsung has not announced the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s pricing, and the final cost could vary by market.
In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to house a quad back camera setup comprising a 200MP main lens, a 50MP telephoto shooter, 50MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 10MP telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, the flagship may get a 12MP front shooter.
The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra could ship with a 6.9-inch AMOLED 2X display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. Speculations are that the device will be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. As per the leaks shared by Digital Chat Station, a popular tipster from China, the processor will be built on a 2nm process. It is also being said that the phone will be 7.9mm thick, along with Galaxy S Pen support. Rumours have it that the phone could bring a 7000mAh battery, supported by a 65W fast charging.
