Just when smartphone buyers in India were beginning to recover from the recent OnePlus 15R price jump, another OnePlus device has become more expensive starting today. This time, it’s the OnePlus Nord 6, the Chinese smartphone maker’s premium mid-range offering launched last month. The revised pricing is already live on both Amazon and the official OnePlus India website and the increase is quite big enough to push the device into an entirely different price bracket.
OnePlus Nord 6 Price In India Has Gone Up
The OnePlus Nord 6 base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage now costs Rs 41,999. At launch, the same variant was priced at Rs 38,999. Meanwhile, the higher-end 12GB + 256GB model has received an even steeper hike. It now sells for Rs 46,999, up from its original Rs 41,999 launch price.
That’s a direct jump of Rs 5,000.
And honestly, this is beginning to look less like an isolated case and more like an industry-wide trend. Rising memory and storage component costs have already started affecting several smartphone brands globally, with companies slowly revising prices weeks or months after launch.
