The next two months are expected to be packed with flagship smartphone launches. The Mountain View-based tech giant is preparing to unveil the Pixel 11 series in August, while the Cupertino-based tech giant is all set to follow with the iPhone 18 lineup in September. Although both devices are rumoured to retain familiar designs, they are likely to introduce big upgrades under the hood. Apple is rumoured to equip the iPhone 18 Pro with a 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro is said to feature a slightly larger 6.31-inch LTPO OLED panel with support for refresh rates of up to 144Hz.
As for cameras, the leaks suggest the iPhone 18 Pro could feature a 48-megapixel primary camera, 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens, alongside a 24-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Sundar Pichai-led tech giant’s Pixel 11 Pro is rumoured to come with a 50-megapixel main camera, 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. On the front, it is expected to house a 42-megapixel selfie camera.
Powering the devices are expected to be two different approaches to flagship performance. The iPhone 18 Pro is likely to run on Apple’s A20 Pro chipset, while the Pixel 11 Pro is expected to debut with Google’s Tensor G6 processor.
Google Pixel 11 Pro is rumoured to offer a 4707 mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, whereas the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to house a 4288 mAh battery supporting 40W wired charging.

Colour options are also expected to differ. The iPhone 18 Pro is rumoured to launch in Dark Cherry, Light Blue, Dark Gray and Silver, while the Pixel 11 Pro is tipped to be offered in Dune, Light Fog, Midnight Haze and Pine.
Google has already confirmed that the Pixel 11 series will debut globally, including in India, on August 12. Meanwhile, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has reported that Apple is likely to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro on September 9, 2026.
Pricing is also expected to increase for both phones. The iPhone 18 Pro is rumoured to start between Rs. 1,44,990 and Rs. 1,49,900 in India. The Pixel 11 Pro, meanwhile, is expected to be priced between Rs. 1,19,999 and Rs. 1,24,999. Google’s Vice President of Devices and Services, Shakil Barkat, recently told 9to5Google that the ongoing “supplier-driven” RAM crisis has affected the company’s hardware business, adding weight to speculation that the upcoming Pixel lineup could see a price hike.
