Apple is set to host its Surprise and Shine event today. The keynote for this event is likely to be different as John Ternus becomes the new CEO of Apple after nearly 15 years of Tim Cook leading the company. According to Bloomberg, the company is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro, along with Apple’s first-ever foldable iPhone.

The Apple Surprise and Shine event will be hosted on September 9 at Apple Park in Cupertino. For Apple fans in India, the keynote will begin at 10:30 PM IST (10 AM Pacific Time).

iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone 18 Pro And iPhone Ultra Expected Specifications
The iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro are likely to come with 6.9-inch and 6.3-inch displays, respectively. As per MacRumors, Apple may make the Dynamic Island smaller while improving the efficiency of the devices. Additionally, the camera system is also expected to receive an upgrade, with both models tipped to get enhanced 48MP sensors. The primary camera could come with an adjustable aperture, while the Pro Max may offer better zoom capabilities.
Both the flagships are likely to be powered by the company’s own A20 Pro chip, reportedly based on a 2nm manufacturing process. Battery may also improve as the Pro Maax is expected to pack a 5,500mAh battery and the iPhone 18 Pro could debut with a 4,056mAh battery.
While the iPhone Ultra could be Apple’s first foldable smartphone ever. It may debut with a 5.5-inch OLED display on the outside and a larger 7.8-inch OLED screen on the inside. Both displays could support a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the iPhone Ultra could be powered by the same A20 Pro chip built using TSMC’s 2nm process and paired with 12GB of RAM.
It is noteworthy that all this information must be taken with a pinch of salt until Apple officials unveils the new iPhones.
