Unitree Go 2: Specifications And Features
The Unitree Go 2 was launched in the global market in 2023 and was positioned as an AI-based robot dog that can be used for research, robotics development, and education. It is built with lightweight aluminium and engineering plastic, and the product weighs around 15 to 16Kg. The robot measures around 70x31x40cm as per the official information available at Unitree.
The robot has been used for lab work, demonstrations, and is ready from day one for outdoor use. Furthermore, it also brings an IP54 certification for dust and water resistance. The machine uses wide-angle 3D and 4D ultra wide LiDAR for mapping and avoiding obstacles. It also packs cameras for enhanced visual perception. That’s not it, the robot relies on multiple sensors – joint encoders, IMUs, and more to maintain balance and stability while performing tasks like trotting, walking, climbing, etc.

Coming to the technical aspects, Unitree Go 2 gets an 8-core CPU with the Pro model supporting up to 40 TOPS of AI computing power. It also comes with support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth connectivity. The device also packs a removable 8000mAh battery with around one and two hours of runtime.

The Unitree Go 2 Air variant is available in the market for $1600, which roughly converts to Rs 1,50,000. Apart from that, the Pro variant of the machine is available at $2800, which converts to Rs 2,30,000.
