Apple has finally taken the wraps off its next-generation AI experience at WWDC 2026, giving iPhone, iPad and Mac users a clearer picture of what the future of Siri and Apple Intelligence looks like. The Cupertino giant introduced AI-powered upgrades across its ecosystem, including new Siri AI, deeper app integrations and new productivity-focused features. With developer betas already rolling out and a public release planned later this year, many users are now asking a simple question: Will their device support it? Here’s everything we know so far.
Which Devices Support Apple Intelligence?
Unlike regular software updates, Apple Intelligence requires more powerful hardware. As a result, support is limited to newer devices capable of handling advanced AI workloads.
On the iPhone side, the feature is available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, along with the entire iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 series. Upcoming devices, including the iPhone 18 lineup and the rumoured iPhone Fold Ultra, will also support Apple Intelligence out of the box.
For iPads, the feature is available on iPad Pro and iPad Air models powered by Apple’s M1 chip or newer, as well as the latest iPad mini equipped with the A17 Pro processor.
Mac users will need an M1-powered Mac or newer to access the AI features. The newly launched MacBook Neo is also included in the supported device list.
Apple Intelligence is also making its way to the Apple Vision Pro headset. Meanwhile, Apple Watch users can access certain AI-powered experiences through Series 6 and the latest models, though the watch must remain paired with a compatible iPhone nearby.

Siri Gets Its Biggest Upgrade Yet
One of the biggest announcements from the American tech giant is the transformation of Siri. The voice assistant is evolving into a far more conversational AI capable of handling complex requests, understanding context and assisting across apps more naturally.
Apple Intelligence also brings smarter writing tools, deeper productivity features and enhanced AI capabilities across several built-in apps.
Beta Schedule And Final Release
The developer beta became available immediately after Apple’s WWDC keynote on June 8. Registered developers can already install the software through the Settings app. Apple plans to release the public beta in July, giving more users an opportunity to test the new features before launch.
The final version of iOS 27, along with the full Apple Intelligence experience, is expected to arrive globally in the second week of September 2026, the rollout will likely coincide with the launch of the iPhone 18 series.
